The Chief Executive, Mr. John Lee, has just delivered his third Policy Address during his term, in which he emphasized the vigorous development of "New Quality Productive Forces." This includes enhancing the new industrial development strategy and institutional framework, increasing investment in innovation and technology industries, and establishing a HKD 10 billion "I&T Industry-Oriented Fund," all aimed at promoting economic diversification and enhancing Hong Kong's overall competitiveness.
In light of this, the forum organizing committee has specially themed this year's event as "Celebrating the 75th Anniversary of the People's Republic of China and the 14th World SME Summit of the Hong Kong General Chamber of Small and Medium Business - New Quality Productivity Era: How Artificial Intelligence Drives Economic Transformation." The summit will analyze how Hong Kong's SMEs can formulate business strategies and identify opportunities amidst the new global landscape.
由香港中小型企業總商會主辦之「國際中小企高峰論壇」，是中小企業界一年一度盛事之一，目的為世界各地與香港中小企業建立交流平台，促使各個不同產業的中小企業準確瞭解在世界經濟形勢下，實現互利共贏、可持續、穩定、健康發展的戰略部署。論壇去年以「把握AI 中小企發展新優勢」為主題，線上及線下共吸引了超過3,000多人參與。「加快發展新質生產力」是國家今年《政府工作報告》的重要任務。新質生產力意味着生產力質態的躍升。創新科技（創科）可為香港帶來新產業和新模式，行政長官李家超先生剛發表任內的第三份《施政報告》，當中提到會大力發展「新質生產力」，包括完善新型工業發展策略和體制建設，以及加大創科產業投資，設立100億元「創科產業引導基金」等，從而促進經濟多元化發展，提升香港的整體競爭力。為此，論壇籌委會今年特別以「慶祝中華人民共和國成立七十五周年暨香港中小型企業總商會第十四屆「國際中小企高峰論壇」-【新質生產力時代 人工智能如何推動經濟轉型】」為主題，分析香港中小企業面對全球新格局，如何部署營商策略及尋找機遇。
